The Guinness shooting experience offers a magnificent and unique insight into shooting etiquette and local wild game. Taking place in our sporting clay range located on the grounds of the magnificent Ashford Castle, which is home of the record breaking Guinness Woodcock shoot.

Shoot and Lunch

Two hours of shooting with practice, tuition & a sporting competition. Includes 100 clays & cartridges per person & all your shooting equipment, plus several different lunch options on the Ashford estate.

The Meet & Shoot

A morning’s meet and shooting experience which includes a welcome reception of tea/coffee/juice, bacon rolls and pastries followed by a two-hour shooting session including practice, tuition and competition elements in the afternoon. Includes 75 clays and cartridges per person and all shooting equipment.

The Ashford Shooting School

The Shooting School is set on the spectacular Ashford Estate and boasts an enviable shooting history and heritage. This heritage dating from the Browne's and on to the Guinness family's involvement in the World record 'Woodcock' shoots of the early 1900s makes it a unique and special environment.

We have an excellent Sporting Clays layout with a vast array of clay targets to shoot. In addition, we have covered shooting stands making it comfortable for shooting in all weather conditions. Our excellent team of experienced and knowledgeable instructors caters well to all abilities and experience levels.

Sporting 25 Clay Shooting Experience – 25 shots

Experience the thrill of Clay Pigeon Shooting! Fully supervised by an instructor, you will be provided with the necessary instruction and safety briefing and commence shooting. You will shoot a variety of different targets each representing a different challenge. This experience includes gun, ammunition (25 Clay Targets), tuition, and insurance.
All the necessary equipment is provided. You just wear something warm and comfortable and be prepared to enjoy the experience.

Priced at €90.00 per person with a supplement of €40.00 per box of 25 cartridges thereafter. 

Participants do not need any prior experience at all. Tuition and an experienced host are on hand at all times to facilitate the experience along with World Class equipment that you will require.

The newly opened gun rooms at Ashford Outdoors are also available to guests interested in upgrading or investing in some of the finest shotguns on the market. Guests from outside the EU can avail of a tax-free purchase, saving up to 23% off the RRP.

The Guinness shooting experience is a magnificent and unique insight into shooting etiquette and local wild game. Taking place in our sporting clay range located on the grounds of the magnificent Ashford Castle Estate which is home of the record breaking Guinness Woodcock shoot.

A step up from the Have a Go session, this experience offers a further insight into the rich history of the game shooting in this area. With up to 75 shots available, test your shooting ability against the against the bolting rabbit, springing teal or wily woodcock.

We offer packages for all abilities from beginners to experienced shots alike with expert tuition in a safety conscious environment.
